The First WES Sierra Leone Independence exhibition, which was initially planned to begin this month in Makeni, Kenema, Freetown, and Bo, has been rescheduled to a later date this year.

According to the organizers Egerdon Promotions and their collaborators, they decided to postpone the event until December and January in order to reach more towns and cities across Sierra Leone, aiming to exhibit the country's rich cultural heritage and celebrate talent in film, comedy, music, and DJing.

The decision to delay the tour was made as there was a growing interest in the event, prompting the organizers to expand to additional locations such as Kabala, Port Loko, Koidu, and Lungi.

The WES Sierra Leone Independence Tour is expected to visit nine cities over the next seven months, featuring appearances from emerging and established models, traditional dances, bonfires, stand-up comedy, and musical performances that celebrate the nation's diverse cultural legacy.

Meanwhile, the momentum for the event in Makeni is growing, following the unveiling of  four additional DJs namely: (DJ Desperate, DJ Alias, DJ Xcent, and DJ Deco) to join DJ Terrorhandsome as respective hosts DJs while more DJs set to be revealed in the upcoming weeks representing evey city and town where the WES Salone Independence exhibition will take place.
