Sport For Empowerment Foundation Joins United Nations “Football for the Goals” Initiative

The Sport For Empowerment Foundation (SFEF) is excited to announce its membership in the United Nations’ Football for the Goals (FFTG) initiative, which promotes sustainable development through football.

SFEF is dedicated to empowering young people in Sierra Leone by combining sport and education. The Foundation believes in involving youth not just as beneficiaries but as co-creators of development, helping them gain life skills to effect change in their communities.

“Our project emphasises that young people are essential in shaping their futures,” said Desmond Paine, Founder of SFEF.

Joining FFTG represents a key step for SFEF, which looks forward to collaborating with international partners to harness football as a tool for positive change.
