Northern-East region popular first division side Bombali Shebora FC are bracing up with intense daily trainings joining several other clubs across the country aiming to impress in the districts, regional and national play offs on route to the nation’s male top-tier.
The Makeni based side defeated upcoming football ball Academy boys “Born and Raised” last Wednesday 2-1 during a pre-season friendly encounter at the Makeni Wusum Stadium.
Assistant coach one of Bombali Shebora Alusine Conteh nicknamed “Abega” in a post match interview told Awoko that he is happy that his side won the friendly match by two goals to one against a young talented side but emphasized that he’s not boarded by the match outcome for his main focus was to put to test some of the new faces the club as singed from various Football clubs in Bombali district as part of their preparation for an exciting football season ahead.
“I’ll be banking on a lot of players in the squad to excel in the new season but I prefer to be tight-lipped on their names now to continue training and engaging the boys into more friendly matches, he further revealed.
