NAS DG speaks on new Prep Drug for HIV & AIDS

By Abdulai Fornah  The Director General of the National Aids Secretariat (NAS) of Sierra Leone  Abdul Rahman Sesay has in an exclusive with AWE-Media.SL earlier today disclosed that persons that have been enrolled for Prep drug are 99% safe interms of contracting the HIV and AIDS. He made the disclosure while speaking to AWE-Media.SL about the Prep Drug at the National Aids Secretariat premises in Dwarzack Farm in Freetown. "Prep is a new intervention that have been introduced into the national response of HIV and AIDS, adding that it is a prevention intervention or prevention strategy for the vulnerable population of persons at high risk zones where the HIV and AIDS can be easily contacted, especially for persons involved in commercial sex. Makeni Local court No. 1 Clerk says Challenge Cases dominate the cases they adjudicate

HEAD TEACHER CRIES FOR GOVERNMENT SCHOOL SUPPORT

He made this statement after serving nearly half a decade without receiving school subsidies in a school that has been approved by the Sierra Leone Government through the Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary School.
