Sierra Leone Premier League Board Unveils Record-Breaker Musa Tombo, 10 others in Team of the Season

Sierra Leone Men’s Top-flight Record-Breaker Musa Noah “Tombo” Kamara and 10 other players from the season’s top four clubs have been named in the team of the season.

The Bo Rangers and Leone Stars Forward who netted 18 goals to defend his Golden Boot Award, becoming the first ever to achieve such record and now remains the overall highest goal scorer in the Sierra Leone Top-tier was unveiled on Saturday, 4th June, 2022 by the 2021-2022 Sierra Leone Premier League Board.

Bo Rangers Coach Jose Solomon Cortes and four other players that involved in their historic and maiden Champion Win for the club namely: Saidu “Malian” Mansaray(Defender), Esheik Kamara(Defender), Saidu Bah and Mohamed Fogbawa both Midfielders together with Wusum Stars debut defender Ishmail Kanu, Alimamy Buya Kamara, East End Lions Skipper Kemson Fofanah, Prince Barrie as well as Mighty Blackpool’s goalman and forward Saidu Kamara and Donald Wellington all formed the season’s best XI.
This follows the triumphant completion of the 2021/2022 Sierra Leone Premier League in the Southern city Bo on May 29 where Bo Rangers were handed their first ever Sierra Leone Premier League Trophy after finishing top of the table with 78 points, sixteen points higher than runners up East End Lions points earned from 34 League Matches.

Makeni Medical Mission Brings Hope and Healing to Bombali District
