UK High Commissioner arrives in Makeni for Street Child Marathon, holds productive dialogue with Former President Koroma

On Saturday, June 3, the United Kingdom Commissioner to Sierra Leone Lisa Chesney visited the former President Ernest Bai Koroma at his Makeni resident.
At Koroma’s Robureh premises, he dialogued with the UK High Commissioner on a range of national and international issues including emerging political issues.
For the Former President, he says he’s pleased that, the British High Commissioner stopped by whilst she is in his hometown-(Makeni).
He sized the opportunity and extended his “warmest congratulations to the Queen on her Platinum Jubilee on the throne, her 70 years of service to the UK and the Commonwealth.
And described the dialogue as “fantastic” via a statement he posted on his official Twitter account with 51.7K audience.
Commissioner Lisa on the other hand, Retweeted the former statesman’s twit with an appreciation note saying, “Thank you Ernest Bai Koroma for a productive and wide-ranging discussion. We covered a lot of ground, including our strategies for the Street Child Marathon tomorrow-see you there!”
