Koinadugu District based outfit, Kabala City Football Club’s Head Coach Thomas Mara said the maturity of his day’s opponent Bombali Shebora Football Club is the main cause to his team’s 5-0 defeat suffered over the weekend at the Wusum Stadium during their encounter in the ongoing Northern East Region Football Association Men’s Super-10 championship.

“When the match kicked off my players were playing well until Bombali Shebora evoked their team spirit, showed maturity over my team and started dismantling my side’s defense, netted five times against us to finish on a frustrating 5-0 score line,” he explained.

Coach Mara further stated that his ambition now is not to win the ongoing championship but to do his best together with his players in their remaining league games to avoid defeats in order to be safe from relegation.

His team’s latest 5-0 defeat inflicted on them by current league leaders Bombali Shebora Football Club is the 14th defeat his side has suffered out of a total of 15 matches played so far, winning only once (2-1) against Makelleh Football Club of Fadugu.

Goal scoring possessed Forward Issa Apex Tarawlie of Bombali Shebora Football Club who netted a hat-trick last Saturday in their 5-0 win against Kabala City Football Club, his second so far out of 15 games played says “his team’s ambition remains to win every league game with a vast goal margin.”
