At the Vopad Mini-Stadium in Waterloo, Freetown the Sierra Leone National U-15 Male team impressively humbled Koya All Stars U-17 Football team 2-1 in their ongoing nationwide preparatory friendly matches for the WAFU-A Zone U-15 tournament underway in neighboring Liberia.
Coach Alimu Koroma’s regular goal scorers Osman Mansaray and Alimamy Kargbo both registered their names on the score sheets respectively in the 17th and 36th minutes while Koya All Stars U-17’s consolation goal was netted by Abubakarr Mansaray(own goal) to end the entertaining youthful showpiece 2-1.
It's the first win from a total of four friendly matches the U-15 side has earned since entering preparatory camp in Freetown on Friday, 26th June, 2022.
