Emilia Jengo thrills Sierra Leone Football Family at View Restaurant

During the special dinner and awards night organized by the Female Premier League Board of Sierra Leone for female players, officials, Makeni based activist, musician and sports administrator Emilia Jengo who is also one of the 7 members of the said board thrilled the dignitaries and other attendees with what has been described as “an astounding musical performance.” At the Freetown City View Restaurant, Emilia who on behalf of the Female Premier League Board officially premiered her second song composed and recorded to amplify the success of the maiden national women’s championship raced for by twelve teams including Kahunla and Mogbwemo Queens the championship runner up and champions, performance of the two minutes and forty-three seconds (2:43) long tilted “Thank You” did move gathering and got dignitaries dancing. As she was performing the gratitude packed melody that recognized the support of the Government of Sierra Leone, SLFA, the twelve participating teams of the momentous 2022/23 Sierra Leone Female Premier League, sponsors, partners, the media among many that supported the league’s board to succeed in staging an exemplary competition, one of the EXCO members Haja Ramatu Kamara , the SLFA President Thomas Daddy Brima, the Resident Minister North Abu Abu Abdulai Koroma to name but a few enjoined her on the stage to perform the song splashing cash as they got thrilled. For Emilia, composing, and recording her second song for the maiden women’s championship after the release of her first titled "We dae play the game" that was released eight months ago "is part of her added contribution towards writing an unforgettable history of the 2022/23 Sierra Leone Women’s Football season, a season she believes has unlocked the path for the growth of football in the small West African football loving nation."

Yoni Chiefdom Crowns Journalist Richmond Tholley as Ceremonial Chief
