By: Alusine Rehme Wilson Fuel “Jebu” Sellers and Bike Riders in Makeni have unhealthily increased the prices of fuel per liter and transportation fee blaming Gas stations in Makeni who have been rationing sales while have since closed down their stations for over 72 hours now leading to astute scarcity of gas within the municipality. Of the nearly twelve gas stations in the municipality of Makeni, ten namely NP-stations (5) total-(3) and two privately owned stations have refused to sell fuel to motor owners for the past three days instead they are secretly rationing sales to “Jebu Sellers” at the expense of motor drivers and riders as well as the common man in the municipality. The nation’s total score remained at 1174.12 since last November, it’s the second time in the same year, Sierra Leone has failed to score more points in the global ranking after maintain the same place 114th in April and May respectively.
