By: Alusine Rehme Wilson Kholifa Stars Football club officials, and others soccer supporters across the Northern region are mourning the passing of Abdul “Adebayor” Bangura, a celebrated commercial driver and revered regional sports figure whose selfless service transcended deep club rivalries. Bangura, a devoted support of former Sierra Leone premier league side Kholifa Stars of Magburaka, has over time served as a vital transportation and logistics partner for local sports, died recently following years of dedicated service to regional football. He has been buried in his hometown in the Paki Masabong Chiefdom, Bombali District, in the Northeastern province of Sierra Leone.
