⚽Area Best FC’s Head Coach Optimistic of Bagging Home 2018-EBK-Trophy🏆

Former Makeni Area Best Defender: Alpha Lamin Koroma alias ‘Taribo’ is the club’s current head coach. Alpha Lamin Koroma alias “Coach Diago Taribo Simione” ahead of the 2018 EBK-Trophy has express optimism to win this year’s EBK-Trophy which is described by many football pundits as the Northern Champions League because of it competitiveness and consistency since it was established in Makeni in 2011 by Honorable Chernor Maju Bah (Chericoco) the Former Deputy Speaker of the Sierra Leone Parliament, who is one of the most popular politician that have great love for sports most especially football in the country.

Coach Alpha Lamin Koroma aka “Coach Diago Taribo Simione” made this revelation to this writer in an interview few weeks after they defeated the Champions of the 2018 SWASAL organized Mayoral Trophy: Santino FC by 6-1 in a friendly match where one of the fastest growing Attacker, Saidu Ballah, Area Best’s very one who is popularly known as “Theo Ballah” scored Hat-trick against Santino.

In coach Alpha Lamin’s analysis, he maintained that his team is very ready without any casualty with any of his boys to take on any team in this year’s EBK-Trophy citing that the absence of traditional big names and former champions of the tournament notably Maramapa Stars of Lunsar and Bombali Shebora and that of Pathfinders football clubs into this year’s league fixtures is an indication to show that Area Best FC is in a better footing to win the 8th edition of the league.

Coach Taribo further revealed that the inclusion of new teams into the competition is going to provide his boys new big winning records opportunities because of his confidence on his top two Strikers Saidu Ballah (Theo Ballah) and Mohamed S. Koroma (Lolo) and other quality players in his team current squad.

Fans are eager to throw their bets for Area Best into this year’s 2018-EBK-Trophy(Northern Champions League) as they will be taking on the 2018-Kono District Football Association 2nd Division League Champions: Flamingo in their first match in the league fixtures away in the diamond land of Kono on Sunday, 11th November, 2018.

Makeni Medical Mission Brings Hope and Healing to Bombali District
