⚽ TOM FC CATAPULTS INTO THE NORTHERN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE…🏆


 The 2018 Champion of the Bombali District Football Association (BDFA) 2nd division league, Tom FC a young and talented squad that have earned a promotion from the district football body as a 1st division football club in the Bombali district have catapulted into this year’s EBK-Trophy(Northern Champions League). Tom were booked into the league based on popular demands from fans and kind considerations from the BDFA Chairman, Abdul Rahman Kamara and his subjects.

This means a young squad but a very promising one is for the first time in the history of football in the northern region will be participating in this year’s EBK-Trophy(Northern Champions League) with a bunch of talented and admirable soccer youngsters.

Despite the ages of team’s players, the people of the Makama Community in Makeni, where the team originates, Makenians and Football followers and lovers beyond the Makeni municipality are optimistic that Tom FC though debutants into this year’s Northern Champions League, they will go a long way in competing to win the competition.

They are in placed Group A alongside Bullom Stars, Ocean Boys, Kay Town Lions, and Wusum Stars. Tom will be having their first match in the competition away to Ocean Boys at the Makeni Wusum mini Stadium on Sunday, 10th November, 2018.

This year’s EBK-Trophy(Northern Champions League) will mark it eight edition since it was established in Makeni in 2011by Honorable Chernor Maju Bah (Chericoco) the Former Deputy Speaker of the Sierra Leone Parliament who is still an MP in the well of parliament.

Yoni Chiefdom Crowns Journalist Richmond Tholley as Ceremonial Chief
