Pepper Tribes Timbo “Rescues Kuwait City Natives”

One of the country’s committed, hardworking, trusts worthy youth: Amadu Wurie Timbo, who has been engaged in community services for several years now, has on 6th June, 2019 successfully completed a water well project at Kuwait City, off Teko road in Makeni, Bombali District, north-eastern part of Sierra Leone.


The constructed water well project according is Amadu Wurie Timbo was sponsored by Wendy Ward, a member of the Pepper Tribe a Non-Governmental organization that is based in abroad with quest of establishing its branch in Makeni for Sierra Leone which has two farming sites already in Makeni.

He further said that the sponsor and other national and international members of the organization are committed to do more community services to the people of Makeni and the country by extension in the near feature.

According to natives of Teko community, the water well project is warmly appreciated by them as they described Amadu ‘s gesture with support from Pepper Tribe as a rescue to them as natives of the community and their children by extension, since they are directly beneficiaries and are also very closer  to Mr. Timbo than even them as adults.

The constructed water well will aid the Natives of Teko in three main areas, firstly it will save them from shortage of water to carry out their farming activates, will provide them with pure and safe drinking water and it will be used in the dry season to provide water for other natives that resides even outside the Teko community they happily narrated.

Makeni Medical Mission Brings Hope and Healing to Bombali District

By: Alusine Rehme Wilson Residents of the Asker Amputee Camp in Makeni City, including various war victims, are rejoicing over the inauguration of the Makeni Medical Mission health facility, established by philanthropist, author, and pastor Mr. Bambay Sawaneh, alongside his partners in the United States. This newly launched medical facility, comprising 11 treatment rooms, was developed with the support of Southeastern Medical International (SMI) and the Concord Christian Church. Their mission is to deliver compassionate healthcare and a range of medical services to the people of Bombali District and surrounding areas, with a particular focus on war victims and vulnerable families living in the Asker Amputee Camp at Robureh.
