Last week’s results from various games played within and across the Northern regions have clearly measured the huge amount of rivalry between teams that were grouped to play each other in a home and away knock out round.

Yoni Shooting Stars of Tonkolili District was the only team to win it home game by a goal to nil against Bai Bureh Warriors of Port Loko while all three visitors: Marampa Stars, Urban Stars and Makelleh picked valuable points away to Cheltenham, Area Best and Wusum Stars respectively.

Elsewhere, Bumbuna Hydro Stars now seats comfortably after defeating Sky Eagles 2-0 at home while Rokupr based newly promoted first division side, FC Katara shared points at home with Lungi visitors, Bullum Stars after both teams failed to scored throughout the match.

Actions in the EBK-league resumes this weekend on Sunday in Kambia, Makeni, Kono, Port-Loko, Lungai and Fadugu where teams will have to travel to the home of opponents to play their second leg games where new records are expected to emerge since the faith of qualification of  traditional names in the EBK-League lies in a thin thread.
