MAN 31 SEXUALLY PENETRATES 4 YEARS MINOR Alhassan Kabba, age thirty one (31) was on Wednesday 24th July 2019 arraigned before Justice Unisa Kamara for the offence of Sexual Touching and Sexual Penetration against four years old minor. According to Ibrahim Fornah, he told the jam-pack court that he was coming from his farming exercised along the Yoni Bana bush in the Mamailla Chiefdom when he saw the accused Alhassan Kabba sexually assaulting a four years minor in a nearby bush and immediately without wasting time, straightly went and arrested him and brought him to the town. He further explained that he saw the accused half naked on top of the minor with his trouser half way to his leg and later took his cloth which he has already spread on the ground where he was assaulting the minor. He disclosed that the accused beg him but he refused and later attempted to bribe him with his mobile phone which he also refused and straightly went to the minor parent and informed them what he saw between the accused and the minor. The minor was immediately rushed to Magburaka government hospital where she was treated and later to Mile 91 police station. At the Mile 91 police station, the accused admitted that it was the devil who entered in his mind to commits such offences. He concluded that indeed he met the minor along Makarankay bush and later recalled that indeed he removed the minor pants and sexually fidgeted her. He confessedto the police that when the report reached the minor parent, he was scolded and severely beaten but during the trial at the Makeni high court, the accused denied the entire allegation including what he told the police. Several witnesses were summoned by the state Counsel North, Aruna Jalloh wherein it was proved beyond all reasonable doubt through the competent court that indeed the accused committed the offence and on that note Justice Unisa Kamara was left with no alternative but to sentence the accused to seven years jail.
