Advocate for Women, Ebola Survivor, Street Children, and Rape Victims (AWESSCRV-SL)Condemns Rape of KhadiajahSaccoh

Advocate for Women Ebola Survivor, Street Children, and Rape Victims worried about the persistent increase in Rape cases across Sierra Leone.We are also concern and  shocked by the recent Rape and murder of a 5 year old KhadiajahSaccoh in Freetown.

We extend our heartfelt sympathy and condolence to the family of the deceased KhadiajahSaccoh for the loss of their daughter in such manner.

Rape seems to becoming a culture in Sierra Leone despite the Government Proclamation of State of Emergency on RAPE. We are also aware that the Sierra Leone Policearrested the Rapist and is under investigations. Violence against Women and Girls is one of the greatest crime and Human Right Violations.

Advocate for Women Ebola Survivor, Street Children, and Rape Victims (AWESSCRV-SL) will continue to support all efforts made by the  Sierra Leone Government, Police (including the family support unit and ) the Judiciary among others to make sure the right of Women and Girls are protected and Justice Prevails in Sierra Leone.

Yoni Chiefdom Crowns Journalist Richmond Tholley as Ceremonial Chief
