Popular home based Dancehall Musician and song writer Rap Gee, in solidarity with the #Justice4KhadijaManinatuSaccoh campaign have  joined hands with Sierra Leonean Striker and last season Swedish top flight golden boot winner, Mohamed Buya Turay to release a song titled “Justice for Khadija” which calls to  action Authorities in Sierra Leone to help end  rape in the country.

The song which was released on June 21, 2020 following the sad News about the death of an infant girl child aged 5 years, Khadija Maninatu Saccoh who’s corpse autopsy confirmed on Saturday, June 20, 2020 that she died of rape break out.

On that same day Buya reacted to the unprecedented act of rape and wrote the following on his Facebook page:

“Today I am sad. I am angry. The death of this child, Khadija Saccoh because of rape is EVIL and UNACCEPTABLE. My heartfelt condolences to the family.

We cannot look away from this matter of our girls being raped and the rapists walking free. Please let us come together as a society and expose these rapists. Please to the authorities, let us ensure that justice is served and these evil men are punished.

WE MUST STAND UP AGAINST RAPE IN OUR COUNTRY. STOP RAPISTS! #JusticeforKhadija.”

Sierra Leoneans, activists and other residents within and across Sierra Leone are massively joining #theJustice4KhadijaManinatuSaccoh Campaign while other celebrities are planning a public protect in the country’s capital, Freetown to help seek justice for the late Kadija.

However, the Sierra Leonean international through his latest partnership with the Upline Nation CEO becomes the first Sierra Leonean Footballer to add his voice to the campaign. The song called law enforcers to take prompt actions on the matter of Late Khadija, sympathizes with the bereaved family, amplifies the First Lady’s “Hands of Our Girls” concept, discourages all from Teenage Pregnancy, Early Marriages, Child Labour among other forms of Gender based violence, at the same time cautioned Male and Boys no to go any closer to Females and Girls with the intent to abuse them sexually or physically.

Before adding his voice to this campaign, Buya, “the magical Sierra Leonean forward” had also put across his frustration over the death of George Floyd on social media referring to his matter as a sad reality and a reminder of racial intolerance that exists around the world that needs an urgent redress.

“Racism has to stop, whether in football, at school, or on the streets. We must all love one another and join hands in stopping a few evil elements from making the world a dark place. #BlackLivesMatter”, he added.

Turay was nationally celebrated by Sierra Leonean Hip Hop Rapper, Kao Denero. The Black Leo CEO and supporters shared viral photos of Belgium based Mohamed Buya Turay with love messages to the striker for buying copies of the top rapper’s “Kiss the Throne Album” on June 12 this year.
