RAPIST HARBOURED MINOR

At the Makeni court, presided by Magistrate John Manso Fornah, the accused Augustine Kamara at New Jersey in Makama, Bombali District was arraigned for the offence of Sexual penetration of a child contrary to Section 19 of the Sexual offence Act No 12 of 2012.

The particular of offence read, that sometimes in October 2018, the accused Augustine Kamara had sexual intercourse with a minor and later harbored in his house.

According to the testimony of the minor, she disclosed that she has been with the accused Augustine Kamara and also dating with her since she was in class six.

She further recalled that the accused Augustine Kamara on the 11 October 2018 when the accused Augustine Kamara took her in his house where she spend days with him without the knowledge of any family members and had sexual intercourse with her and on way home she met her brother who threaten her that prompted her to explained about her illegal marital activities that was going with the accused person.

The accused Augustine Kamara was denied bail by Magistrate John Manso Fornah where he will remain and witness the trial.
