RESIDENT MINISTER ENGAGED TRADITIONAL LEADERS IN FALABA AND KOINADUGU DISTRICT

The newly appointed Resident Minister for North East Region Hon Abu Abu Koroma , last week embarked on formalization tour in his operational areas in order to identify the felt needs of the people and to explained president Bio’s government priority in moving the country for betterment which every Sierra Leonean irrespective of tribe and region will proud of.

The Resident Minister North Hon Abu Abu Koroma said the rationale behind his visit, gear towards strengthen central government relationship with the local councils and chiefdom administrations and to map out sustainable development at communities level.

He noted that President Bio first priority is on education and on that note called on Chiefdom stakeholders including the Local Councils in Koinadugu and Falaba District to partner with the
central government in achieving this goal, noting out that education is the only collateral security that cannot divorce men and women in society.

He continue that President Bio dream is to make sure Sierra Leone achieve it past glory as the anthem of Education in Africa. Pointing out that under the new direction, every stakeholders is going to participate as government intend to establish different monitoring groups at districts and chiefdoms level.

He concluded that apart from education, President Bio considered all the necessary pillars that help promote the country human index such as Health, Agriculture, water and sanitation and infrastructural development. Stating out that the leadership of Sierra Leone People’s Party believes in a government of national inclusion but warned stakeholders that the government will frown against any detractor that undermine government in achieving this goals because politics is over and President Bio believes and operates constitutional as president  of Sierra Leone not a political party.

He reiterated that people should be patriotic in accepting and supporting developmental strides by President Bio’s government whenever it reach at their door step rather to politicized it for their selfish gains. Adding that his presence today is to identify how serious is President Bio government to serves the people rather becoming master or a dictator to remote the people.

He further revealed that his visit to Mongo in the Falaba District and Kabala in the Koinadugu District is a clear indication about President Bio determination to reinstate the authority of Local Councils and Chiefdom authorities that was once undermine due to political interference.

The Resident Minister Provincial tour was successful as the People of Falaba, the new established and deprived district look at the courage and determination taking by the Newly appointed Resident Minister Hon Abu Abu Koroma to their deprived district as timely and hope that President Bio government considered the people of Falaba with all the seriousness which the deserved than previous government that abandon them in wilderness .

Makeni Medical Mission Brings Hope and Healing to Bombali District
